Tracey Sulzberger is senior vice president, chief compliance officer for National Hospice Management(NHM). Tracey is responsible for leading NHM’s compliance and ethics program and promoting ethical conduct across the organization. This includes encouraging employees to follow the tenets of the compliance, integrity and ethics programs and to strive to live up to NHM’s code of ethical and legal conduct. She joined NHM as a patientcare manager in the Davenport, Iowa branch in 2013, and gradually took on responsibilities for education, training, and quality improvement. She then moved to a compliance role for NHM. Prior to coming to NHM, she gained experiences in many fields of nursing including the operating room, long-term care, cardiology and hospice case managing. Since coming to NHM she has been a patient care manager, clinical educator, director of clinical services, compliance manager, compliance director and was most recently promoted to senior vice president, chief compliance officer in 2023. Her experience as a frontline care provider, clinical manager, and performance improvement specialist provides a diverse background from which to approach compliance and ethics concerns.
