Kandy M. Mecum RN, MBA, Chief Operating Officer. Kandy has been with National Hospice Management for 9 years. She is a registered nurse who worked her way up through the organization while continuing her education and knowledge of hospice care. Her 20-year background in healthcare combined with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Strayer University has given her a well-rounded business sense that aligns with the CEO’s vision for superb patient care and quality of life. Kandy has a passion for educating and raising awareness of hospice services. She serves as a Galesburg Chamber Ambassador, Monmouth Illinois Rotarian, Western Illinois Fatality Review Committee Member, National Hospice Partnership Foundation Board Member, NHPCO Member, Wound Nurse Certification, and ELNEC certification.
